After waking up with the lake & mountains view, we decided at breakfast that we needed another day in Lake Como. Our hotel only had one room open for our third night, a kids room with bunk beds. We reserved it anyway and paid to push back our flight to Prague an extra day.
Our plan for today was to do as little as possible, and we succeeded. We laid out in the hot morning sun and took a brief swim in the chilly water, got lunch at the hotel restaurant, and briefly kayaked.
Our big activity for the day was to catch the bus from our town, Lezzeno, to nearby Bellagio. We got gelato and strolled by the shops for about two hours.
We ended today like yesterday. Dinner at our hotel restaurant overlooking the lake. This time we tried the house wine, not so good. So we bought the bottle of Chianti we had yesterday and brought it back to our room for some tipsy travel planning.
PS - No George Clooney sightings yet, but we hear we're across the way from film locations for Star Wars (ep I-III, Naboo I think) and Bond (Casino Royale).
PPS - Posti, we'll look into to Como ferry. At the very least, we'll be taking some ferry tomorrow.
